Purpose
The Neighborhood Network
fills the need for professional advocates for the environment
and accountable government on Long Island, fighting for the common
interest rather than special interests.
Mission Statement
The Neighborhood Network
is dedicated to reclaiming the suburban and rural character of
community life on Long Island by preserving our environmental
resources; initiating efforts to employ clean energy technologies;
advancing planning principles that foster stronger communities;
and holding our governmental officials accountable by advancing
reforms which set the highest ethical standards and keep the operation
of government open to the public.
The
Neighborhood Network Research Center, Inc., performs research,
educational, and public informational activities. Contributions
to the Neighborhood Network Research Center are tax deductible.
